Wellness is the state of making the right choices to pursue a healthy lifestyle. Maintaining wellness is extremely important to living a higher quality life. There are many forms of wellness, we will be only focusing on two: physical and mental.
It impacts our emotions, physical well being, and controls the actions an individual makes. We'll show you some ways a few ways that you can do to improve your wellness!

Tips for becoming physically well:
Exercising regulary can have many health benefits. It strengthens your heart and improves your circulation. It helps lower your risk of heart diseases such as high cholesterol, coronary artery disease, and heart attack. Not only does it help you physically long term but it will also relieves mental stress!
Eating healthy can reduce your risk of chronic diseases such as a heat disease or cancer. It is linked to better mood and improved memory.
Getting a good night rest will significantly improve your day to day mood, boosts the immune system, and strengthen memory. We all need sleep to function, an adult needs 7-9 hours of sleep while a teenager need 8-10 hours of sleep per night.
Your mentality may play the biggest role in everyday life. The ability to control your feelings, your decisions, and even your ability to deal with tough situations with the right mindset comes from your level of mental wellness. If your mental wellness is not taken care of, you may often find yourself overly stressed or have an explosion of emotions all at once. We have provided a couple activities that you can practice or try out if you ever feel like you're not doing mentally well. That's okay, it's tough right now!! And you can get through this!!
A person needs at least 7-8 hours of sleep per night. Sleep gives the body an opportunity to work and restore the parts of our body we don't have control over. Such as how we function, our metabolism, the immune system, and your brain preformance. Sleep also hugely impacts our awake stage. The energy we have during the day relies on the hours we slept.
It may seem trivial at first but it allows you to stop for a moment and organise how you feel. You don't need to write everyday or have an amazing elaborate idea for wellness. It's a private journal for you to just write anything you want. Try it out for a day or two! You can write anything: dreams, events of the day, how you're feeling, what you ate, or doodle how you feel.
When you're bursting with emotions and feel like you have no self-resistance then maybe you should try meditation. Meditation allows you to stop and focus in the present. It can help you release negative thoughts, anxieties, and many other factors. Study has shown that meditating on a regular basis or on a consistent schedule has alleviated stress and anxiety. You don't need to meditate for a long time, even 5 minutes a day will make a difference.
Not only cleaning has proved to give people the satisfaction of cleaness around their area which has shown to have a release of endorphins, but it can also be another way to exercise. It gives you a subconcious feeling of having control over your life.
